McGuigan, who helped sister Caroline Dubois of Mentor Dubois, recognized the difference in “significant” power between former Cuzador Usyk and the British fighter, who weighed almost 18 stones for his impressive knockout victory over Anthony Joshua last September.
However, the 64 -year -old Irish feels that Usyk, 38, is “too smart” to allow Dubois to be a clean shot.
“When the big guys hit you, you get hit. I think Usyk, with the experience he had, has improved,” McGuigan said.
“It’s a harder fight, because Usyk ages and dubois is still very young. For me, they approached to make the fight closer. If Usyk is hit by dubois, the fight is over, but he will not be hit like this, he is very smart.
“Dubois will want to work on your body, put it under pressure. All this friction will be very exciting.”
Mcguigan added, “I think USYK will win this time, I’m not sure if it will stop it, but it can be a broad decision of points.”
