Thomas Tuchel says supporters need to be patient with England and not “wait” when they play Andorra, the 173rd classified team in world football on Saturday.
The World Cup in RCDE Stadium in Barcelona is just Tuchel’s third game as Manager of England, and he will seek to strengthen the position of the three lions in Group K.
England is currently at the top after defeating Albania and Latvia in March, but Tuchel warned that despite the differences between the teams, it can take your team some time to break a resolute defense of Andorra.
“It will be for us to continue. It’s about us to keep the pace high, it’s about us to bring the energy to the field,” he said.
“It’s about bringing attacker energy into the field and doing it in a relentless way.
“Players come from a long and tiring season and then accept the role of being responsible for most of the game.
“It may be demanding, but at the same time is what I feel of the group – they are happy to be here, happy to show.”
