Super Women’s Super League revenues rose 34%, despite the fall in service

The journey revenue increased, despite a 10% drop in the previous year’s calls.

The average participation in the league fell to 6,642.

The fall, which followed England, reaching the 2023 World Cup final, contributed to losses before the taxes of £ 21 million in 2022-23.

However, Deloitte is predicting revenues to reach £ 100 million throughout the league at the end of the 2025-26 campaign, aided by the next euros in Switzerland,

“Women’s football in England is evolving quickly,” said Tim Bridge, the main partner of the Deloitte Sports Business Group.

“Although the challenges remain, of course there is potential for a fan base passionate and engaged to boost the development of the game.

“The capitalization of the main international tournaments is important at specific times, but sustainable growth depends on the organic development of the domestic league.”

Bridge added that a “competitive balance is a fundamental priority” if WSL is to support long -term growth, with increased gap between the largest grass clubs and the lower profit clubs.
