Alfie Hewett, from Britain, beat Gustavo Fernandez 4-6 6-4 6-7 (12-10) to reach the French open wheelchair final.
The second seed Hewett had not released a set in its first two matches, but had to come from behind to go beyond Argentina, in two hours and 46 minutes.
Hewett is 10 times champion of Grand Slam Singles and won the French Open Title three times.
The 27-year-old Tokito Oda faces the world in the final after the Japanese star beat Martin de la Puente 6-4 by 6-4.
Hewett should also play alongside British colleague Gordon Reid in the men’s wheelchair final on Friday, but this match was transferred to Saturday.
The British duo – who is five times champion in Paris – will face Oda and Stephane Houdet of France for the title.
