However, sources told BBC Sport that the club is confident of extending Ronaldo’s agreement.
Speaking in front of the Portuguese League final against Spain on Sunday (20:00 BST), Ronaldo said a decision about his future was “almost final”.
The striker joined the al-Nassr in 2023 after the end of his agreement with Manchester United.
He scored 99 goals in 111 games for the club, including 35 times in 41 matches in the last period.
Ronaldo marked the winner in a 2-1 win against Germany on Wednesday to reserve Portugal’s place in the League of Nations.
