Cristiano Ronaldo and Lamine Yamal Set to meet as Portugal Play Spain

While Yamal has reached more than Ronaldo as a teenager, he will do well to match the longevity of the Captain of Portugal.

At 40, Ronaldo is still prolific for the country and the club, although in the Smaller League of Saudi Arabia. He must sign a new deal with Al-Nassr this summer.

Its winner in the League of Nations semifinal against Germany was its 137th goal on its 220th top, both records of International Men’s Football.

In total, he has 937 career goals, also a record, and is on his way to reaching 1,000 in two years.

His consistency is also impressive, with the 17 goals he scored in 2022-23 for Manchester United and Al-Nassr combined their less prolific season in the last 19 years.

When Yamal was born in July 2007, Ronaldo already had 46 Caps.

He won Ballon d’Or, the Champions League and became the most expensive soccer player of all time (joining United Real Madrid by 80 million pounds) before Yamal began school.

And his son, Portugal U15, International Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, is only three years younger than Yamal.
