Matteo Manassero and Ryan Fox maintain slender leadership in Canadian Open

Italian Matteo Manassero and Ryan Fox of New Zealand were tied with the lead after the third round in a Canadian open.

Manassero and Fox, both cartridges of 64, each, including seven birds and a bug -papate as they moved to 14 below.

“It was a very good round,” said Manassero, whose bug -papate arrived at the 17th hole before recovering the blow with a bird at the end.

“I lost the short at 17 and lost some shorter. I try to think about them as a truck, as a driver, like a six iron, whatever. It’s just a shot.

“It was not so difficult for me to keep my focus on what I was doing and not ruining [it] at the end.”

Manassero will be chasing his first PGA Tour title, while Fox is looking for a second just a month after his first triumph on the Myrtle Beach Classic tour.

“Obviously, there are a lot of good players behind me,” Fox said. “I feel it will take a while [score] to do the job. ”

Lee Hodges and Kevin Yu shot seven under the 63 -year -old rounds and sit along with Matt McCarty.

65th from David Skinns from England took him to 11 less with seven other players, including the Cameron Champ day leader.

Champ only got a 71 number of one pair in TPC Toronto, in the Osprey Valley.

Danny Willett (67) from England and Ireland’s Shane Lowry (68) are a 10 -way shot below.
